12 Errors and 2 Warnings found using W3C Validator
I've put the Javascript into an external .js file and linked it with: <script SRC="Scripts/contact.js"></SCRIPT> It's not recognising it though and sends the form out even if all fields are empty. Also, whenever I pasted the code into the .js file I get an error on this line (well a red mark over the row number in Dreamweaver): var i,p,q,nm,test,num,min,max,errors='',args=MM_validateForm.arguments;

12 Errors and 2 Warnings found using W3C Validator
I got the following errors when I ran this pagethrough the W3C Validator: It all comes from the script I used for the form, I don't know how to sort them as I got the script online (can't remember where though as it was a long while ago) and any changes I make render it unusable! Can anyone help?

Problem with font-weight: bold; in Firefox 3.6
Cheers for the advice mate, taken on board! The website is for a friend, she designed it and asked me to put it online for her. I passed on your comments and she agrees that bold is being overused. You're right about assigning a hierarchy too, I'll get around to that after launch. You really made her day when you complimented her print work!

Problem with font-weight: bold; in Firefox 3.6
I've added font-weight: bold; to my text in this page. It appears fine in Chrome and Safari and looks like a different font altogether in IE (why is that? the font I designated was Arial Narrow) but in Firefox 3.6 it appears as normal weight. When I view the page the font become bold for a split second before reverting. This happens on 2 windows PCs but appears fine on any Apple computers. I both the HTML and CSS through the W3C validator and it found no errors. This is really bugging me, that and the font problem in IE.

Problem with position: fixed;
Sticky footer doesn't seem to be working for me, have I got the code wrong? <div id="wrap"> <div id="main"> <div class="wrapper"> <div class="top"><!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="Body" -->Body<!-- TemplateEndEditable --></div> </div> </div> <div id="footer"> <div class="bottom"></div> <div class="bottomwrapper"> <div class="copyright">© Lotus Graphic Design. 2010 All rights reserved</div> <div class="niall">Created and maintained by Niall Devlin</div> </div> </div> </div> @charset "utf-8"; /* CSS Document */ .wrapper { background-color: #DDEBEB; } .top { width: 960px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; background-color: #DDEBEB; } html, body {height: 100%;} #wrap {min-height: 100%;} #main { overflow:auto; padding-bottom: 123px; } /* must be same height as the footer */ #footer { position: relative; margin-top: -123px; /* negative value of footer height */ height: 123px; clear:both; } /*Opera Fix*/ body:before { content:""; height:100%; float:left; width:0; margin-top:-32767px;/ } .bottom { height: 100px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; background-image: url(../Images/Misc/bottombar.png); } .bottomwrapper { height: 22px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: #FFC425; } .copyright { font-weight: normal; float:left; font-size: 11px; margin-left: 10px; line-height: 20px; } .niall { font-weight: normal; float:right; text-align: right; font-size: 11px; margin-right: 10px; line-height: 20px; } Unfortunately neither of your methods worked for me RobertG, I've added reset.css to my .dwt though.

Problem with position: fixed;
Thanks, I'll try that when I get home from work. Is that with no position?

Problem with position: fixed;
I'd like for the bottom bar to appear at the bottom of every page (below the content), this works out fine without positioning on a page that requires scrolling but on a page that doesn't fit the full screen the bar appears below the content but not the page. No Position - Appear at bottom of every page except on a high resolution screen. Absolute position - Appears at bottom of every screen until you scroll down (it stays where it is), overlaps main content. Fixed position - Always at bottom of page, overlaps main content. Sorry if I'm not explaining well enough.

Problem with position: fixed;
First off, the site in question. I want the bottom bar to appear at the bottom of each page so I added the following CSS: .bottomcntr { width: 100%; position: fixed; bottom: 0; } This moves the bar to the bottom of each window i.e. on a page where you have to scroll it is on the bottom of the window rather than at the end of all the content. If I change it to position: absolute; the bar stays at the bottom of the page, but when scrolling down it stays where it is. How can I sort this?

Sorry, I need glasses... How about now?

OK, done all that, does it appear OK now?

Page looks messed up on some computers
Of course, I should have noticed that. You don't have the full path within the single apostrophes, was that intentional?

Page looks messed up on some computers
Tried a different font (Airstream Regular) that I got from Squirrel Font and it didn't work. I guess I slipped up somewhere along the way, trouble is, where? I got the kit from SF and uploaded it to my server, then I added the following code to my .dwt and applied it to all my pages: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/Scripts/Fonts/fonts.css" /> The kit I got from SF included: .eot .svg .ttf .woff A demo .css

That's what I did do, I chose easy from the two options and used an OTF.

Page looks messed up on some computers
Tried that (as far as I know, is the CSS wrong?) but still not working: @charset "utf-8"; /* CSS Document */ @font-face { font-family: Arial; src: url(../Fonts/arialn-webfont.ttf); } .heading { width: 930px; float: left; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px; padding-left: 30px; color: #60869F; border-bottom-width: thin; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #60869F; } .heading2 { width: 930px; float: left; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px; margin-top: 20px; padding-left: 30px; color: #60869F; border-bottom-width: thin; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: #60869F; } .shortcutsbetween { width: 16px; float: right; margin-top: 6px; color: #60869F; text-align: center; } .shortcuts { font-weight: bold; float: right; margin-top: 10px; color: #60869F; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-weight: normal; text-align: right; border-bottom-width: thin; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #60869F; } .backtotopwrapper { float: right; width: 900px; margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 10px; } .backtotop { float: right; color: #60869F; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-weight: normal; text-align: right; border-bottom-width: thin; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #60869F; } .clr { clear: both; width: 100%; } .detail { font-family: "Arial Narrow", Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-top: 10px; color: #60869F; width: 300px; float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-left: 10px; } .detail2 { font-family: "Arial Narrow", Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-top: 10px; color: #60869F; width: 310px; float: left; margin-left: 10px; } .detail3 { font-family: "Arial Narrow", Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-top: 27px; color: #60869F; width: 300px; float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-left: 10px; } .detail4 { font-family: "Arial Narrow", Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; margin-top: 27px; color: #60869F; width: 900px; float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-left: 10px; } .image { background-color: #60869F; width: 280px; float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-left: 10px; padding: 10px; margin-top: 5px; } .menuwrapper { width: 400px; clear: both; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; } .homebutton { width: 100px; float: left; text-align: center; margin-bottom: 30px; margin-top: 50px; } .aboutbutton { width: 100px; float: left; text-align: center; margin-bottom: 30px; margin-top: 50px; } .pricingbutton { width: 100px; float: left; text-align: center; margin-bottom: 30px; margin-top: 50px; } .contactbutton { width: 100px; float: left; text-align: center; margin-bottom: 30px; margin-top: 50px; }

Page looks messed up on some computers
Had a look at my Mac at work today and noticed that some of the captions are 3 lines as opposed to 2 lines (the Silhouette [first] one for instance). I'm guessing this is because of the width of the div, but I can't really afford to increase the width without pushing the adjacent div over. Any way around this? Is anyone else seeing this on a Mac?

Excellent, and I'm sorry for appearing such an amateur! I'll be sure to pass on the compliment you gave on my friend's work. Thanks everyone for the help! Now, if only I can get my head around Wordpress...

Page looks messed up on some computers
Strange, I saw on DW it was there (looking at the tab along the top that shows files linked to the page) yet when I opened it separately it wasn't there, then when I looked at the tab again it was gone. Anyway, I've added it to the file as opened separately and uploaded it.

Cheers, added that. Understand how it works too (don't want to come off as lazy and looking to others for solutions!).

Third doesn't work either, did setting explicit heights help?
