It is not easy task to increase likes of facebook page becuase you would have to invest time and share sueful information with increasing facebook friends.It is the just one technique otherwise you can purchase likes but that likes wil not worthy.

Some concerns I have already..
1) If you open the menu it doesn't animate in time with the button and lags behind. How would I calculate the time the menu aligns with the side of the button?
2) In IE 11 the plus button at the top left breaks and the social buttons don't stay inside the menu.

I understand that you may like me to use a SEO company to help me further, such as yours, but I am trying to do this myself on a limited budget.
 
In addition, I am targeting a specific geographical locations in the UK, I am not intending to cover the whole UK, therefore these areas/locations are defined within the website to help rank the site to specific locations.

I've been freelancing as a web designer since my son was born 6 years ago and I quit my full time (web design) job to look after him. I have a small website that I've never really pushed or updated because I haven't needed to - I've had a nice small stream of steady work from word of mouth and referrals. This has suited me fine as I only wanted a few hours here and there.

Now both my kids are at school full time I really want to push this and get more work but I'm really unsure if I should stick to just using my name and just sell my services as an individual or if I should come up with a company name and look a bit more professional? I don't want to deceive anyone into thinking I'm some sort of design agency but at the same time some people might find a single person off putting.

Also I have a concern - and it may be unfounded - that being a woman and using my name may also put people off? When I worked full time and during uni it was such a heavy male environment. I'm hoping this has changed (I know I'm sounding really old now but I'm only 32, lol)

Yep I thought so, I was just wondering if there had been any new 'effective' players that developers were using. I'm a big fan of paid bloggers, but thats can be £250-£500 for one article on a 'good' PA/DA site, not cheap at all.
 
For sure I'm happy to get say 50 quality (PA=30+) link rather than a 1000 nothings.

I'm a generalist, a freelance web/graphic designer. So, I deal with a lot of projects that I have a "working" knowledge of, but am not an expert. Plus, technology is changing so fast, its hard to be an expert at more than a few things nowadays.
 
For example, a restaurant client wanted an online calendar where people can click on a date and register for wine tastings. Ive done countless contact forms over the years, though never one like that, so Im looking at all of the options, making test calendars, trying them out.
 
Another example would be a client who runs a counseling center, and wants electronic signatures added to their referral forms, but with the option to forward the form, etc. Something more complex than the simple esig widget I added.
 
So, I spend a lot of time these days researching different options for my client. I dont charge for this, only for implementation. And I dont think I should charge for every second I spend on their projects, though Im wondering if anyone out there does charge for research, or if they handle it differently? Thank you for any feedback.
