If you are buying this for adsense, then it is not attractive. But if you simply want to make a website to help others about commerce, then domain name does not matters.

Normally, people go for .com But there are still other options like .info and .org These are cheaper than the other ones. The popularity of your website depends more than on your content and it's uniqueness than the domain name.

The technique I use: Search for different pages and groups on fb related to your required area. Like them. And start participating in them. Like other peoples post, share them. Make your own post. Try to interact with people. And you will get a lot of active and helpful group of people around you.
