clean365.co.uk review
Not a bad looking site right for starters there are 44 errors in the coding (check here) they only look like minor issues though, it takes a while to get your website up in the listings, one thing that helps which i noticed you havn''t done is to add keywords into the "alt" tags of the images. I'm not an expert at SEO but if im correct google takes a few weeks to index your site, so changing your keywords alot would not be beneficial. Also i find Google Analytics is really helpful for tracking your hits and seeing where they come from. now onto the design side of things, i really like the header and the navigation. Get rid of the horrible default link colour! (blue). The images at the bottom are nice, but some are to dark and don't quite look right to me, trying adding a border to them or something they just make the bottom part of the site look flat. But overall good job!

Please review my portfolio
first thing that came to mind was... GRADIENT OVERLOAD! just got to many gradients on the page it looks abit messy, the headers on the boxes are horrible and don't match the colour theme, try getting rid of the gradient behind the headers and reduce the font size of them. also i don't like the way it suddenly goes green at the bottom? just seems random and out of place to me? and lastly as 'final' said tables are a no no, they aren't search engine friendly and makes for messy coding. Try looking for some tutorials on how to use DIVs. Like the initial concept though, your on the right track, background image is great! same with the banner i like that too just your content doesn't go with it, seems like you got the inital layout done then got lazy with design of the content. good work

Would welcome reviews
i really like the theme your working with here its really nice, again the first thing i noticed was the big yellow block seems really out of place and a bit big for a footer in my opinion. I would like to see it without the yellow background and just the type in a suttle white colour? good work and good luck

My New Blog
always amazes me how a packet of rizla can connect people in such a way, i don't think i've met a designer who doesn't have a packet of rizla on them

Really crap weather but when i got back from lunch there was a small breakthrough of sun so i decided to take some photos this is probably the best one out the lot i took, i'm no a photographer but i want to get good at taking photos. i played about with the brightness/contrast abit on PS. what do you think?

How can i improve on this?
Hi Guys, I asked you to review this site when i first finished it back in september, its had a few small changes since (most notably the main banner). This site was made for the company i actually work for, so basically i spend a lot of time looking at it and its been very sucessful for us, we get normally atleast one quotation request a day at the moment, and up until a few months ago (when the recession hit and most marketing was put on held) we where getting 80-100 visits a day (i believe for the market that this website is for i.e the self build market that is quite good) but recently its dropped to around 40-70 a day (quotations still coming through as much though). Basically i'm abit bored of the site now and i was thinking of doing a re-design but everytime i try to think "how can i make this site better" i cant come up with anything because in my eyes it pretty much dead on. I think it looks good, its easy to navigate and understand. but then i have a biased view i created it after all. so what i want is a couple fresh pair of eyes to have a look at it and throw some suggestions my way on how to improve from it! Linky

photo gallery
Hi peeps the marketing co-ordinator sprung on me today that he'd like a photo gallery on our website since he took alot of pictures at the recent H&R show at ExCel this pass weekend. my question is how would i make a good looking one? my first thoughts are a flash one, but no my operations manager doesn't want to use flash because of compatibility issues (really?! who doesnt have flash now days!!) so i guess its going to be PHP or JS? basicaly i want a thumbnails along the top with arrows either side to scroll through the thumb nails, and when you click a image it brings it up nice and big below, would be on www.chelmerheating.co.uk (without the boxes that hold the current content i'll just use the white background and a border on the images) so yeah basically i don't know PHP or JS enough to make one myelf (infact i know very little) so if someone could point me in the right direction of a decent script or program that can do this for me would be great (p.s sorry for bad spelling and grammer)

hi thanks yeah that sort of fixed my transparency issue but has also caused some more problems, i have a feeling that a png hack isn't going to work for me i'm afraid. what other options would you suggest? heres what your hack done thanks alot EDIT : also i've noticed not every transparent png is effected in ie6 :S why is this? hi i'm having some browser issues...guess which browser is the issue? you got it IE6 erm i know one the main problems is png transparency and i've been looking into png hacks but they sound like they could mess my site up even more some i'm pretty hesitant about using one. www.carl-robinson.co.uk/CHS is the site www.carl-robinson.co.uk/CHS/main.css is the CSS if you could tell me where i've gone wrong here that'd be grand cheers
