How can i improve on this?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I asked you to review this site when i first finished it back in september, its had a few small changes since (most notably the main banner).

This site was made for the company i actually work for, so basically i spend a lot of time looking at it and its been very sucessful for us, we get normally atleast one quotation request a day at the moment, and up until a few months ago (when the recession hit and most marketing was put on held) we where getting 80-100 visits a day (i believe for the market that this website is for i.e the self build market that is quite good) but recently its dropped to around 40-70 a day (quotations still coming through as much though).

Basically i'm abit bored of the site now and i was thinking of doing a re-design but everytime i try to think "how can i make this site better" i cant come up with anything because in my eyes it pretty much dead on. I think it looks good, its easy to navigate and understand. but then i have a biased view i created it after all.

so what i want is a couple fresh pair of eyes to have a look at it and throw some suggestions my way on how to improve from it!

Big grey boxes - not breaking the content up but appearing as huge blocks of grey, I would experiment with laying things out in a slightly cleaner way.

And death to Times New Roman! Hehe :D
