Python + cron jobs + multiple domains on the same hosting account
Hello Adam. I've put the answers to your questions line-by-line. Hope this helps! You can do this with either shared or reseller hosting. Many people prefer to do this on reseller accounts, though, so each domain can have a separate cPanel login. This won't be a problem on most web hosts, as long as the scripts don't take up too much CPU. This is standard for all cPanel web hosts.

What time of the day / night are you most productive?
Sometimes I get up as early as 3:00 AM depending on how big my day is. I'll down a cup of coffee and knock out 75% of the day's work in those first few hours. It's really a wonderful feeling

Which site-design to go for?
Please change the font from Comic Sans in the side bar. It's best to keep one type face for the body text (I see Comic Sans and something else above it). This should help with the continuity of the site

When you build a register page on a web site, what kinds of info do you ask from your user?
General UX rules state that the more forms the user has to fill out, the less chance of them actually registering (and people hate long forms). On the other side, many businesses want to get as much possible information about their users (target demographic, age, financial status, marriage status, etc). However, I think a good way around this is to have like 4 forms in the registration part and collecting some of that other information at the user's leisure, or later on when using the web app

IE the most hated browser
Usually this is because those who use IE aren't knowledgeable about computers in the first place, and they wouldn't know to update their software. In addition to that, I don't think IE does a very good job of getting people to update

How do you start your own webhost?
Generally speaking, if you have to ask this question, then perhaps you shouldn't be opening a web hosting business. Here's a general guide Get a reseller account and a domain (some providers will provide a free domain with reseller accounts) Set up custom nameservers (most resellers will show you how to do this) Set up billing and automation software (WHMCS -- again, most resellers will provide this for free) Set up a website to sell your hosting on When you get a reseller account, you'll be provided with cPanel and WHM, where you can make more cPanel accounts. Now, of course, that doesn't cover the technical aspects, like support requests. However, there are a lot of resellers that offer end user support, so you don't have to worry about the tech support.

Pointing to hosting account issue
Yes, your plan should work. Yes. To move to a new hosting space, it is necessary to change name servers. Before making the NS change, log in to the new hosting account (123-Reg) and ensure that the proper MX records are already set. This should not cause mail downtime, as the MX records are cached by the old provider and the new one. Also, mail downtime is rare. Even if the server goes down, the mailer daemon on the other side will keep trying to send the email, usually for up to 10 days. Although there shouldn't be any missing emails, if something were to happen, any missing emails will come through after a few hours. From a DNS perspective, it is possible to forward the current domain without changing nameservers, but changing the NS shouldn't be hard. If you have any more questions about this, just ask.
