Bazzy

Hi there, i used to browse this great forum but i finally decided to join to learn more. I'm familiar with HTML & CSS and would like to learn more about programming languages like php e.t.c! My goal is to one day design my own portfolio and convert it to use with popular content management systems like WP and become a professional web-designer.

Hope 'll learn more during my stay here.

Thank you.

I don't quite understands neil's business plan! Probably the best candidate there (IMHO), yet the crappiest idea!

EDIT :- His website could do with an update though

Seems to me like a lot of people are misunderstanding of what you want. An alternative to Dreamweaver with a WYSIWYG - not a Text Editor/IDE or a CMS?

Much like dap said, DW can resize and crop images from within the app. After a quick search I found this, might be helpful: http://projectwoman.com/2012/06/resize-images-in-dreamweaver.html

I'm not on steam, not really the genre I play on a PC, more the titles for the xBox. I'm a big MMORPG fan, Warcraft, The Old Republic ... oh and still love to dig out Command and Conquor and Dawn of War

I'm on steam but I try to avoid to connect too much, I don't have time to play at the moment, not at all...So I agree with Bazzy It takes too much time. However, the last game I launched was Sanitarium, and old game ! But the story is great !!! That's why I'm playing it ! And I hope to finish it this year LOL !

Nevertheless, If you like FPS, I highly suggest you to glance at verdun-online,I've worked a bit on this project as 3D artist ! It's a FPS set during the WW1, It's still in beta and It'll be maybe greenlighted thanks people's vote on steam ! So If you like it, give it some votes ! You can try it freely at the moment through your web browser, or you can as well download it to have a version with better details ! Even If It's a beta with a lot of things to improve, It's fun to play ! Available on Linux - Windows & MAC. It uses the unity engine !

Looks fantastic in the demo but having had experience with Adobe it might be more trouble than its worth.

There is a plugin that I use for things like buttons called CSS3Ps that is pretty good as a starting point. http://css3ps.com/ and I've heard good things about CSS3 Hat. They save a bit of time but you still have to tweak it a bit.

I use it as back up, WordPress can back up to it at set times. I use it as my picture library, my repos and best of all, I sync sublime with it, for home and work.

Make sure you upload some camera photos to get an extra 3gb

evu.

There's also things like modernizr and ie8.js, look it up.

my theory is make it look good for latest browsers, let it fall back but work for older ones. always use css3 over images where you can.

getting a phone that comes with a drop box account is one of the best ways to get free space. I'm rocking a free 59gb atm

I have always thought we need a thread on this forum, where we can moan about things - you know, being a grumpy person, I am always up for a good moan

I'm affraid, I am not allowed to post up links yet :-(

The teal and lime sounds sublime :-D

Happy Sunday
Mostly sitting in the garden today, working on a project and posting in the forum in the meantime.
Lovely weather today, no cloud in sight.
Also planning colours for our new place (thinking of teal and lime green lol as they are "happy" colours, but don't think the SH is too enthusiastic about them).

Driving school site sounds good, good luck with that

Not sure what the weather's like there, but here is fantastic, perfect day for a BBQ

I hope you're not going to kill me if I say Queen and David Bowie
"Under pressure" is very suitable for my working hours
And that Space Oddity version performed by commander Chris Hatfield was great
