I have updated the homepage with the changes you suggested (and it looks much better), but now I'm kind stuck on the landing pages for the services. I'm working on the "websites" service page and I can't figure out how to build it.... Now it looks too much like a normal wordpress page, but it needs to have a more appealing look... Maybe I should remove the image, build a nice title (based on the slogan of the image) and a bigger font for the text description of the service.. I need to put nice text content here if I want it nicely indexed by Google the page I'm talking about is called "Siti Web" on the menu, do you have any thoughts about it?

Thanks a lot, after i read your message, I looked back at my site and I totally agree with your point of view. The site is still work in progress and I will soon add more pages and items on the menu. I will also add color to put in evidence specific items, for example i will soon place a button called "contact me" and it will be in orange color (complementary to the main blue that I use everywhere). I will make the improvements and write here again when they are done, thanks!

You really need to get a grasp about Illustrator, photoshop won't help you a dime on logo design. And more than this, you need to follow some basic graphic design course! I'm sorry if I sound rude, but this is your logo and should be bright and professional, otherwise it will affect your business.

Hi everybody, I just went full-time web dev and I am rebuilding my own website to help my business. I have reached an issue, where my block of code seems like a site error and I can't figure a way to clean it. a website is like a coin: as you cannot build a one faced coin, you cannot build a website looking only to either front-end or back-end. You have to think about them both. Front-end is about HTML, CSS, Javascript, while back-end is about PHP or ASP and SQL. Since there is a ton of information to learn, it's always better to start from either one of the two, and use something that will help you on the other side. For example, i started with a local webserver (uniformserver com, it's free) and installed Wordpress (that gives you both the faces of the coin ready to use). then you choose front-end or back-end an start playing with the code. If you screw something to the point you can't fix it, you can always wipe everything and nobody get hurt. Rinse and repeat until you get a grasp of what you are doing. Hope it helps.

For a relatively complex project like this, you *must* break it into pieces and work on a item at time (keeping in mind that you still have other pieces to link together). Keep it abstract, draw you schematics. Coding is the last step, and you should have everything crystal clear when you start writing your code. The high-level thinking of the project should be language independent. When your website "run" fine on paper, then you can start implementing it. this is the best way to avoid headaches and last-minute-structure-changes. Hope it helps.
