modx ? I couldnt find any templates for it. Is it any good ?

I have been looking for the same. Still searching. You just cant put html into a wordpress template. The template needs to be chopped into different parts. Thats what I have been reading lately. Different sections/parts like header, sidebars, footer etc depending on the complexity of your design.

Not so easy when I have to hack into the cms to get my jquery running. Disable mootools add head and different positions just to get my layout look exactly like I want. It also adds up its own extra HTML which I dont need.

Me too looking for a similar answer . I need a CMS which is quick easy to learn. I am not a coder/developer. I have lil php knowledge. All i need to know is how easily I could wrap a cms around my design or best if the cms could wrap my design around it. I have been reading about the coding part and ever cms has its own set of codes to incorporate my design/custom. Wouldnt it make sense to keep the html markup same and the CMS just fills in the content for me ? *Thinking*

anyone using bootstrap ? It seems to be world famous.....

I am developing a website which has different layouts/designs for some pages(8 different layouts). Its approx 100 page information website and I was thinking about using a CMS. I googled and found wordpress joomla concrete modx simplecms to be top contenders. Not sure which I should go for. Could you guys suggest me any CMS which I could use or which one would be perfect for such project ?
