Of course the user requirements are a very important factor when choosing the type of OS for the server. my reply was in the case of a general website that could be ran on either Windows or Linux.

Sounds like a good idea, but then again; wont you lose business but refusing to support IE 6/8. I know that it can be a major pain sometimes but not everyone understands that they need to update their browser to a newer version or even a new kind. Regards, Michael James Swan

Is there no way to get a new administration theme installed? I tend to just go with the flow. I do not like some of the new changes that have been made, but the software itself is still second to none. They work pretty hard and I guess that the developers and designers had a higher rate of people who would prefer the new look. Well, that is what I think anyway. Best Regards, Michael Swan

There are a lot of website hosting companies out there. I would avoid HostGater, 1PowerWeb and JustHost personally because I have had there "ex" clients come to my website hosting company because of the bad level of service that they feel that they received whilst with one of those companies. blah blah blah is a good one and has some decent reviewes on HostJury. <link removed> I hope that this helps. In a worse case scenario, the MX Recrods or mail server IP address has been BlackListed for Spam or another reason, In a good case scenario, the keyword is causing the issue. The Spam filters may need to be configured or they could use a different domain name for their company emails. Something shorter maybe, without the "trigger" word. Best Regards, Michael Swan

As the owner of a website hosting company, I prefer to use a Linux Server to provide my Clients. Windows Hosting tends to be for those who require certain aspects of code to run on the server. Like .asp and .aspx, etc. Linux Hosting is more affordable than Windows Hosting, because of the fact that Microsoft charge for the use of it's operating system; and ultimately this cost is passed down to the consumer.
