I thought allied assault was dead and buried strange to see some still play i cant see it ever being resurrected to the amount of people that used to play it although if it did i would go back playing it. The good thing about MOHAA is that the game can be played online without an original copy, you need the game, a no-cd patch All Seeing Eye or Gamespy etc and your good to go. I found that you can drag the EA games folder from your program files and stick it on a disk then format and drag it back to the program files to find the game works as it did with a clean install lol. Not many games you could do that with now without some sort of conflict. I have been in a fair few MOHAA clans in the past years EVO, BMF, TSOL, and many more but cant remember to date i have recently purchased a domain name for starting a new COD 4 clan to maybe progress to COD 5. I have been studying webdesign seriously as a beginner for a year or so, so i’m interested in creating my own clan website for fun/project. If anyone is interested the clan will be small community of players who would be preferably over 18 however younger people who show maturity on team speak and server will be allowed. As i'm still a beginner in webdesign i could not build myself a forum for the website i have a free one that will link from the website. Anyway if anyones interested give me a shout for a game, other then that im starting it this week and i'm sure the WDF can help me succeed. Clan name is O18 which stands for Clan Over 18 where we will be active in clan base, soon as the website is done i will be buying a server for a month to start with the fun and games. Team speak and forum is already up. Its been a while since i used x-fire but i have d/l it and my username is o18css so add me for a game and chat.

Its the first game i started on many years ago so its old skool to me i remember alpha was going but i didnt bother with it until source come out and medal of honour was dieing. Look at how far we have come, graphics are emmence compared to then. I used to have x-fire but i havent used it for a few years can grab it again though.

Just to see if anyone likes this multiplayer game although its been out a while. I hear COD 5 is on the horizon and have seen a small clip of it, looks very good but time will tell. When i first started playing COD 4 i used to feel sick and dizzy and thought i was going to start fitting but the more i played the better i got and my eyes got used to the fast paced graphics of the game. I played a lot of counterstrike source before this and before that i played a very old skool game called medal of honour allied assualt. What FPS games have you lot liked and/or still play if any?

I'm in a bit late like should have looked in the chat about anything forum a bit more anyway i will be added after the next point update but i'm now wondering if my current points in my other league will stand when the points update, anyone no? if i start from zero not to worry look out for the Ring Worm FC we got some power when its coming from behind.

I have actualy played with the anti aliasing and find it does get better, however on printing it seems the quality was not there. Thing is i have a new printer and its a slight down grade from my previous so on printing it came out slightly jagged where as i used the same size font (18pt) in microsoft word and got a lot better quality but without the tools and features that photoshop has. Could this have anything to do with any settings on photoshop as to why i get a bad print?

I have been working with photoshop CS3 as photoshop is all i have used for a few years but i now find that i am getting some bad quality fonts in my work i have played with all the settings i think will influence the text but all i get is a dodgy pixely text where as microsoft word handles the fonts fine why is that? I'm sure previous photoshops have handled fonts better then this. Are there fonts especially for photoshop software that you get good quality with? I was wondering what other software people use for there graphics and text and when you have your text what software you use for adding effects to it?

Hey Jem i have only justed printed out the tutorial to read then i will have a go when i get home tommorow night, I have been looking over your website its very good i like it a lot some nice tutorials in there i think its great that you have provided people like me with some means of learning specific web design scripts etc. Keep up the good work i will be posting soon as i hit the brick wall of my php form.

Thanks Jem but i think i will just look over your tutorial properly before i start asking for more help. I have just copied and pasted and its not the best method. Your tutorial seems to be small enough for me to take on board and try get it functioning myself. If i need extra help after following the tutorial and trail and error then i will post back in this for your help if your willing to reply to major noobert in php lol. Cheers for help so far.

Thats just made the form disapear? arghh, and still get You did not press the submit button; this page should not be accessed directly. Can you attach style sheets to php docs? prob silly question.

Ok cool, im trying to access the form directly should i not do this as your error message suggests or can i change a setting to access directly.

Hey Jem, Thanks very much it worked for me from your website. I'm happy now, i know that copy and paste isnt the best way to learn but i'm currently learning css and html so didnt want to start learning php because my head will explode. I now have a nice basic contact form for website, just a couple of questions. Can i or should i be adding anything additional to this script then just where its going on submision? Is it safe from any spam attacks etc, can i edit your replys to faults in the data fields etc? Thanks again.

So i bought a book PHP for dummies and feel i'm being sidetracked from what i want to be learning. I'm still in an intermeadiate stage of CSS and HTML while trying to learn small amounts of javascript. I want a contact form within my website that has a quite a few fields to it and part of it avalible for quick contact and part for more information from someone who has logged in. My form is created within my contact page and all fields are in place, i now need something to manage the data fields when they are filled in. I will go on to learn PHP more in the future but at the moment would like to get my form fully functioning and if possible have someone loggin to get to it. Is this something anyone could help me out with please.

Hi, This is very new to me all this I think i could do with reading a book or tutorial on what all this does i have only just got a an average grounding on html and css so maybe i could do with learning somemore on this area. I'm with heart internet and its there own, i thought i could only use there own which is formail, but if i can use the above is there ways of programming this to recieve data via webserver rather then e-mail? Guidence and suggestions would be appreciated, bearing in mind its only a simple form i have maybe you could provide me with a quick tutorial/code for it.

Hey thanks for replys, Does this formail support submission of data using webserver? is this a much more complex way of getting the data? I think with your help i could set up to recieve the data by e-mail, but now i'm curious to know how to submit without the user having to have an e-mail client set up.

Creating my form was a breeze but it comes to getting it to function i'm at a loss. Is anyone familar with this method and by the name "formmail" does this mean that only e-mail data can be sent by this code? Ive got a basic form that i want the results sending back to me via e-mail when the person submits, I have read all of the guidence notes and it starts to get confusing to me maybe not to you READ ME Can anyone reply with some advice please.

This doesnt answer my original questions on the matter, i realise there is many ways to this result i am asking for one currently and maybe with that knowledge i can use to understand more of the process.

Hi Dizi So in what you are saying if an image created as a required shape can be put direct in to that Div to much the same size of the div, could you put the text over the image so it actualy looks like layout or would the text push the image down. I have read that post and gone to the link to all 25 of the ways to get the result i want but i guess in learning one could stand me in good stead for the future. And after seeing your work in the past and you think this is a good way to do it then this is the one i would want to no how to use. any chance you could point me in the right direction of this.

I see why you might think its easy for yourself but i am only learning and can only go of the simplest terms, i wouldnt no where to start without actualy seeing some code to understand and if possible explaining to me what is going on within the code. My above code stated is being used as an example of something i dont really understand (apart from my own CSS) without me trying to get some sort of visual reference to go of im usless to go and throw the code out myself unless i keep learning my books but i thought if i could maybe suss one way of getting my div tags with rounded corners i will be able to keep the knowledge for this particular way of implementing for future. Well after reading endless amounts of tutorials regarding this i still am non the wiser on the path to take. Lots was implementing gifs to get the effect but i feel that it is a bit shabby, although maybe not who am i to judge. I would prefer it to be done complete code and did actualy find one that just gave the source of the effect using this below. Unfortunaly this codeing is a bit beyond my current knowledge as a learner and i do like the effect but i did not no where to start on trying to use this within my own content. So hopefuly someone would be able to try and reply for me to get some mmm loverly curvs on my content by me giving you my current css Also is there anyway of explaining what the top source is doing in simple way if you think this is a good way to get me some curvs.

Hi peeps i really dont want to be saying this because i would be giving a new name to noob but all day i have been messing with settings changing paths, messing with all sorts wondering what the hell was going on and alls the problem was is that i uploaded my website in one folder in to the public root and it took me all day to try and cut them out and paste them directly in. I think i need a bit of a break now and again i tend to sit there for hours with things until there done with a small break i may have considered. Thanks for help guys at least i was ponited in the right direction of what the problem would be. DOH

When i access my temp domain which is the ftp then my domain browser says So i cant quite work that out also, there is webspace used at the moment so all i can guess is that the temp domain name isnt working because i should see at least my homepage even if there is problems with my paths. The above quote also happens when i access the temp web address from my control panel. One other thing is when i access the ftp account in the browser my root files etc are there but when i try opening one from there it asks me for my password and user which i give but the box keeps popping back up. MISERY!!!! lol
