COD 4/ COD 5/ FPS Games

Featured Replies

Just to see if anyone likes this multiplayer game although its been out a while. I hear COD 5 is on the horizon and have seen a small clip of it, looks very good but time will tell. When i first started playing COD 4 i used to feel sick and dizzy and thought i was going to start fitting but the more i played the better i got and my eyes got used to the fast paced graphics of the game.

I played a lot of counterstrike source before this and before that i played a very old skool game called medal of honour allied assualt. What FPS games have you lot liked and/or still play if any?

Medal of Honour Allied Assault isn't oldschool, Counterstrike alpha is oldschool ;).

I play COD4 quite a bit, do you have Xfire?

Its the first game i started on many years ago so its old skool to me i remember alpha was going but i didnt bother with it until source come out and medal of honour was dieing. Look at how far we have come, graphics are emmence compared to then. I used to have x-fire but i havent used it for a few years can grab it again though.

Grab it and add me as a friend and I'll have you a game, that is of course if you have the game on PC (legitimately of course!!) and you're up for it.

anyone with COD4 can add ElusivG on PS3 and get annihalated.

I played CoD2 but haven't gotten CoD4 yet.

Will be getting it when my degree is over :)

Used to play CS:S, UT2004, W:ET and CNC:Renegade :D

CS: 1.6 and MOHAA are a couple I play occasionally.

Used to play MOHAA all the time. :)

I've played most decent FPS titles and COD4 is quite possibly the best IMO. Halo 3 was good, as were Halo's 2 and 1 before that.

Black wasn't too bad, CS was my staple game about 7 years ago then I randomly got back into it in 2007 before getting the Xbox 360.

For me the old school games are the seriously old stuff like Doom (1,2, Ultimate Doom, etc), Dark Forces, ROTT, Quake, etc. I still use the same stupid key configuration today which gives me a lovely claw hand after a hardcore session

Ah, memories...

I used to be addicted to Soldier of Fortune II multiplayer. Those were the days of a 56k dial-up playing with teamspeak running! Can't imagine doing that now. I re-visited that game a year or so ago and it still seemed pretty decent although I doubt "next gen" gamers would appreciate the graphics.

The best games online by far, although they have FPS they also have 3rd person view, are Operation Flashpoint and Armed Assault. Those games are the serious military realistic versions of Battlefield. You need a good group to play them properly though.

I played Solder of Fortune II multiplayer loads too! Before that I played Red Faction, that was fun you could shoot through walls and destroy the map in the process ONLINE!!

Hmm where to start~

Right now I'm really digging Crysis and Team Fortress 2. But before that I've played CoD4, Resistance, some of the other half-life/source games, UT3 (and all the other UTs) and of course Tribes (anyone remember that?). I'm looking forward to Resistance 2! I've already DL'd Qore to get into the beta for it. :)

I play all year. F.E.A.R multiplayer , Deus Ex , Counterstrike 1.6 STEAM non source , Allied assault.

I thought allied assault was dead and buried strange to see some still play i cant see it ever being resurrected to the amount of people that used to play it although if it did i would go back playing it. The good thing about MOHAA is that the game can be played online without an original copy, you need the game, a no-cd patch All Seeing Eye or Gamespy etc and your good to go. I found that you can drag the EA games folder from your program files and stick it on a disk then format and drag it back to the program files to find the game works as it did with a clean install lol. Not many games you could do that with now without some sort of conflict.

I have been in a fair few MOHAA clans in the past years EVO, BMF, TSOL, and many more but cant remember to date i have recently purchased a domain name for starting a new COD 4 clan to maybe progress to COD 5. I have been studying webdesign seriously as a beginner for a year or so, so i’m interested in creating my own clan website for fun/project. If anyone is interested the clan will be small community of players who would be preferably over 18 however younger people who show maturity on team speak and server will be allowed.

As i'm still a beginner in webdesign i could not build myself a forum for the website i have a free one that will link from the website.

Anyway if anyones interested give me a shout for a game, other then that im starting it this week and i'm sure the WDF can help me succeed. Clan name is O18 which stands for Clan Over 18 where we will be active in clan base, soon as the website is done i will be buying a server for a month to start with the fun and games. Team speak and forum is already up.

Its been a while since i used x-fire but i have d/l it and my username is o18css so add me for a game and chat.

Whats your username?

I'd be interested in a clan but I dislike the whole having to be online for a certain time for a certain duration aspect of it. It could have worked when I was a kid but I don't really have the time now. Added you as a friend on Xfire.

I've had better KD ratios, I just didn't want to put you to shame :p. Is that your Xfire? I'll add you if so.
