I'm not being funny, but if you were that concerned about the death threats, why on earth would you post your address in public?

The whole thing seems quite childish and attention seeking.

Think you will find it pays out once you reach £60, not £100 https://www.google.com/adsense/support//bin/answer.py?answer=139719

If you are still certain you want to pursue the adsense idea here are a few tips for you:-

    1) Create a site with lots of content, the successful adsense sites have lots and lots of pages. Give careful thought to the SEO, title and meta of each page (which takes time in itself)

    2) Make the website about a subject you interested in (stops you getting bored)

    3) Have youtube how to videos or tutorials about the subject and link to your site.

    4) Research carefully the best location and colours for you ads, placement is important, sometimes less is more.

    5) Heavily promote the site with quality themed links and article submissions.

    6) Create a loyal following by having regular fresh useful content

    7) Hope to goodness all that time hasn't been wasted on a fruitless venture

Make a standard jQuery slideshow - put it in place on your webpage then screenshot, paste into Photoshop (or whatever program you use) then design/buy/photograph an image of a laptop and place it as you want it. Once it looks right save only the image of the laptop and position it correctly using CSS on your webpage.

(easiest way of doing it that I have tried).

There is an ever-expanding choice of different jQuery sliders on the net. All that they've done is set the background image of the slider to an image of a laptop.

I'd say £5-£10 a month is quite reasonable for good quality shared hosting, or say £50-£100 per year

There are several hosts who hang around in these forums so check out what they're offering and what others have said about them. I normally suggest clook.co.uk - have been with them for years because of their top notch support

Your top menu with the green background "Home" etc. is on the far right at the moment but if you want it a little away from the right side to line with the image below, edit the right size in style.css:-

    #topMenu { position:absolute; bottom:0; right: 30px;/*0;*/ border-top:1px solid #80E1FF; border-right:10px solid #80E1FF; /*background:url(images/bk_top_menu.jpg) 0 0 repeat-x;*/ background:url(images/bk_top_menu_ov.jpg) 0 0 repeat-x; }

You need to understand that just because a select few templates sell well, the vast majority of TF templates do not and you are never likely to make a good living purely selling templates on TF.

Further, making a template and making a website for a specific client are two entirely different things, a template is not a bespoke design hence they're cheap.

Like Mike says a client is free to do what they wish with a finished design however I would not personally work for a client if from the off I knew they were going to sell the theme on TF, what's the point? I might as well do that myself and make the money for myself.

I don't know exactly what you're trying to do but if this is some sort of money making exercise, I'd give up if I was you, it won't work.

I was browsing through one of the popular CSS Showcase sites just now and came across this site called A Little Bit Of Something and it's the portfolio of a guy called Dan.

Read it, i think you'll like it.

    So, whats yours?

I've fixed those little problems, and for the overflow I suggest using the post excerpt feature and displaying that on the homepage. Or removing the height and overflow hidden css styles

Ok here you go buddy, I've quickly recoded it for you (its not perfect but you can tweak it, but it's a lot better than before)

    Have a look here: iaintodd.co.uk/testing/shane/

    Then download these images: iaintodd.co.uk/testing/images/
    and this stylesheet: iaintodd.co.uk/testing/shane/style.css

and upload the images into the root images folder and style.css into the root folder then replace your html in header.php between

    <div class="container"> and <div class="ct_w">

    with: iaintodd.co.uk/testing/shane/html.txt

(Sorry I cannot post links yet and the code contains links so just open the .txt and copy the html)

and obviously you will need to change the links to point to the correct pages etc
