  1. Haha that's awesome, the accents made it.
  2. This post is a bit late, but I can't say I like losing that 1 hour of sleep
  3. It's always sad when people steal designs, not only because it disrespects the original source, but it makes them look bad.
  4. Greetings! My name is Mark, I'm from Canada and I found you guys via Google. I'm a web developer with over 6 years experience, I own my web development company called "Bunk Media" a link can be found in my signature if you're curious. I'm currently attending University for my Bachelors of Law, and web development is the work I do on the side to fund my tuition. Anyway, hello everyone, nice to meet you guys. Cheers, Mark
  5. Haha some of those are really neat, thanks for sharing the link
  6. I feel like I might be "spamming" the place up with my most recent responses. Anyway, as I recommended to the last few posters, if you haven't generated an XML Sitemap and submitted it to the search engines I highly recommend you do so. Please view my other post here: http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/index.ph...st&p=129777
  7. Have you submitted your web sites XML sitemap to search engines? If not, it might help them find you easier. I made a post in another thread on the same topic, feel free to view it here. http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/index.ph...st&p=129777
  8. Good recommendations by bocaj, personally I would invest this 'down' time (time not indexed) into ensuring the site is clean coded (passes validation checks via W3.ORG) as well as has a XML sitemap which is submitted to all search engines. Google: www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ Yahoo: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ MSN (Live): webmaster.live.com/ Ask: http://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=http%3A//www.the URL of your sitemap here.xml
  9. It could be something as simple as they haven't got around to indexing your site yet, it isn't an instant process. If you "just" submitted it, it may take 72 hours for you to see it in the index.
  10. bunkmedia replied to Ciwan's topic in Domain Names
Depending on your domain provider, some offer a service called "Privacy" which mask your information, there is a yearly fee for this though. Edit: Spelling
  11. Are you restricted to Windows Server? If so, I would advise against it, I would recommend CentOS 5.X as for your operating system. If you're looking to rend a server, you can checkout ThePlanet.com, they have very reasonable prices and top end support in my experience. If you're looking to build from scratch, I would suggest Newegg.com for component purchasing, if you require more direction as far as which components to purchase for a reasonable price, I can provide you with assistance in that area.
