Hi, I just started to learn about web design. I used Microsoft FrontPage for the design. The whole idea of the site is to share my learning experience to start up online business or internet business. So, it's more of a sharing place. The problem that i'm facing right now is regarding the 'add comment' part in the "articles" section. I want the readers to be able to write their comments and after sending their comments, they can see it posted immediately after the article.

Another problem i'm facing is: how do i position my navigation menu at the top so that they stay in the banner? The banner is just a jpeg, but the menus are different layers that i created using frontpage. Anyone can help?

I would like to hear from anyone out there about my site. Thanks

Hey, how come nobody is commenting on my site???

www.triumphvillage.com

Logo/site name typeface could do with improving

Navigation small and uninteresting

Get rid of scrolling text

Too much white space (bottom left)

Get rid of "updated on"

Get rid of counter

Pic of man too small for the area

Content is KING and you need a lot more.

Don't use tables.

Work on your copy.

Work on your copy.

Seriously work on your copy. It cheapens your website and makes it sound like it's somewhere between bad idea and hand-out.

	</tr>
			</table>
			</td>

		</tr>
	</table>
	</td>
			<td height="79"></td>
		</tr>
		<tr>
			<td width="344"></td>
			<td width="1"></td>
			<td width="264"></td>

			<td height="1" width="1"></td>
		</tr>

Stuff like that makes me sad. :'(

Few suggestions.

1) Stop using frontpage.

2) On some of your pages, your "about us" image is way over on the left of the page.

3) The design needs a lot of work. This isn't a new idea you have, so take a look around at existing sites that do what you do...

Good luck. :)

I don't understand what you mean by

Well I read the copy and wondered what the site was about, was it a scam? was it a religious group or even a capatalist cult? was it someone or a group of people feeling disenfranchised and putting forward a cod philosophy?

It just read kind of weird to me and ensured I'd not participate, buy from or contribute to site at all.

May sound harsh, but I'm actually interested to hear what's the site about? Selling roti bread? If it is I love that bread, show some pics of it, get a good tag line, describe how you make it etc.

:flm7:

I don't understand what you mean by...

By copy we are referring to the written text on your site, as it makes little sense. So you need to work out what you want to say and say it clearly.
