November 22, 20187 yr My team has been working on the design of the website https://diadata.org/ CSS Design awards ( https://www.cssdesignawards.com/sites/dia-open-source-financial-data/33801/ ) has given us a score of 7.13/10. How would you rate it?
November 22, 20187 yr 1. What do you do? There is nothing useful above the fold. 2. You only give me the option to consent to cookies. There is no opt out. 3. I scroll down the page and see: 'The DIA platform powers the next generation financial ecosystem with crowd-validated, open-source data.'. That statement like much of the rest of the homepage is meaningless waffle. 4. The contact form has only one mandatory field (email) put won't let me submit until I accept the T&C. But the only check box is to allow you to use my data. I'm assuming DIA users will know what this is all about but to me it's a site devoid of anything useful. The main content on this page might be better to have showcasing the homepage: https://diadata.org/bounty/
November 22, 20187 yr TBH I'm confused knowing what you do, as @fisicx points out there's a lot of potatoes and not a lot of meat, kinda reminds me of Christmas, at my house we play colone or timepiece because the advert makes no sense at all ... "What am I looking for? Something I can't see. I can feel it. It's magic." - WTF?!?!
November 22, 20187 yr Yes me too - it's very hard to actually understand what the site does. Lots of flashy (pointless) animation but nothing useful. Cookie consent - if you really valued peoples privacy, you'd offer an opt out.
