Is there some wierd delay or caching issue with these things. I have checked and double checked and checked on https://opengraphcheck.com/ and my link just won't display on fb or on twitter. what's wrong with this page?

EDIT: Seems both FB and twitter when they 'scrape' to get the tags find a 404 error instead of the page. No idea why.

You can 'debug' both of them on the respective sites, I find that when I post a new article or update the image I need to force both to scrape again a couple of times to get the latest information.

Have a look at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ (Just put the url in the input box and press debug, on the next page you may need to press scrape again once of twice)and for twitter https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator

Ah! I left the page marked 'PRIVATE' in the CMS settings. It was late. Doh!

Open Graph Protocol is a set of tags that allows a webmaster to give major social networks i.e fb detailed information about its pages.

If your website is in wordpress then by installing yoast plugin they automatically installed the OG graph on your website.

or there is lots of website available online who makes Open graph for your website, schema, twitter card etc for your website.
