January 1, 20188 yr Hello, I am looking for any developers who can design a header based on the one found at icomoon.io (the icon website)... If you are skilled in this area, and are interested in doing this, please reply below and specify how much you will charge and your expected duration on this project. I will include my specific requirements in a private message to you. Thank you and Happy New Year! Brian
January 2, 20188 yr Author Hello, I noticed that this has been moved from the Design Competitions section, to here...Although I don't mind where it's posted, I just want to be sure that the potential 'takers' for this project are clear that this will require html/css but adding icons into the mix, but not graphics design per se. Also, I have done some more research on this idea, and have put some pieces together in my mind, so I think I have the general idea to get it to work, I am just stumped on putting it altogether, especially with a different way to animate the header, I don't want to copy icomoon.io's idea, that's why I will need an extra hand on this project. January 3, 20188 yr Author Just curious...How much does something like this project go for? If the person was considered a professional in this area? Brian
January 3, 20188 yr Chap I know said a project like this would cost around £500. He also said the whole thing was pointless. If you look at icomoon.io on a phone or tablet there is no animation. So why bother to have it on a desktop. But if you really feel it's necessay on your site the cost is £500. And if you still want the colours on hover add another £100. Obviously your either trying to rip me off, or you don't know a thing about coding, because I am on android 4.2.2 and the animation works fine. And for a couple of hundred dollars for a css animation. I am sure all your "coding buddies" are just waiting to see if I would take your "bait"... Try again. Got the point?
January 3, 20188 yr I'm using an iphone and there is no animation. On an ipad in portrait there is no animation. The cost is because all the flags need to be edited and added to the sprites. They then need to be converted into greyscale then the animation needs coding. Then add the overlay, write the HTML and CSS, make it responsive and test on all devices. That's why he said £500. If you think you can get it for less then that's great. I'm just posting what the illustrator I work with said to me. Not trying to rip you off as it's not a project I'd be interested in doing. If all the flags were prepared and delivered as sprites then the cost would reduce by a large chunk. Edited January 3, 20188 yr by fisicx

January 3, 20188 yr I do. The illustrator doesn’t. He charges for the whole project. I know some developers here charge upwards of £100/hour. So £500 would be cheap. Most of the work is the image preparation. The animation isn’t that complicated.
