December 3, 201510 yr I know how essential the colours are and its combination partake in website design. I am working on my wordpress site and I'd like to know from others (the experts) about the best combination of colours for a travel site. Your reply will be very appreciated. It would be definitely a great thing in my pursuit. Thanks!
December 6, 201510 yr Wouldn't that depend on the nature of your travel site? The colour scheme for a skiing travel site would not necessarily encompass the light-blues and greens, for example, of a travel site specialising in scuba-diving.
December 6, 201510 yr It would depend on the nature of the site, who the target audience are.. for example you cannot throw up really bright colours with the most up to date style if you are selling to the over 60's. Likewise I am pretty sure the under 25's do not want to to see something that looks like your local retirement village. In order to make these kind of design decisions you need to work out who your audience are and then ask about colours. Unless you know who your audience are you you cannot really make any design decisions, fonts, image types, sizes, positioning etc.
