March 18, 201511 yr I have a paralax scrolling website but the menu doesn't collapse on smaller screens / phones, so the content is sitting behind the purple menu.http://www.turningworm.co.uk/focus7/web/paralax/index.html Any ideas on how to fix this?
March 18, 201511 yr I don't see any parallax here and the menu does collapse, but you have too many items in your menu because it is tiling even on the largest screens. Many of your images are also being stretched at larger screens distorting them.
March 19, 201511 yr Author The menu doesn't collapse on phones and the content is hidden behind the purple menu section. Menu wrapping is another issue but this one needs sorting first. There is paralax scrolling if you click on the menu items - its using Envato/stellar actually.
March 19, 201511 yr That thing with the menu items isn't parallax, parallax is when you have multiple backgrounds moving at different speeds to give the illusion of depth. This is what you have here is just a scroll animation. When I test this site on an iPhone the menu is collapsing. you have the burgers button to open the collapsed menu. I don't see a problem there. I am also seeing a lot of errors in the console on the page: GET http://www.turningworm.co.uk/focus7/web/paralax/js/respond.min.js GET http://www.turningworm.co.uk/focus7/web/paralax/js/jquery.slides.min.js XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://yui.yahooapis.com/3.3.0/build/cssreset/reset-min.css. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://www.turningworm.co.uk' is therefore not allowed access. i'd be a bit dubious of those 'parallax' plugins because not only are they spelling parallax wrong it isn't parallax. This is a site with parallax as an example: http://www.boy-coy.com/#apps Edited March 19, 201511 yr by rbrtsmith
