Hi,

 

I need an expert eye to take a look at simple (one paged?) website. The address is: http://www.speak-up.com/ - I'm not an author, but I need to rebuild it.

 

In my opinion I need to change colors, and try to bold somehow the most important information. When I enter the page, there is no main information or topic which I can look at (everything is grey).

 

do you agree with me? how do you think? It's not very complex web page

There are much more ways to enhance with hiraki than just to make something bold

 

You can increase white space around it

You can change its font, colour, size.

Add a box around it or a background colour

 

For me personally, not knowing the brief, I would start with seriously reducing that text amount and finding other methods to convey their message, no one in their right mind is going to spend so much time reading so much crap.

 

It's not a complex web page, it's very simple, it's just long winded and boring.

Body text looks very small. Small fonts are not trendy right now (and probably never will be). And I guess you should make the page adapt to different screens/media

Whilst it's fine for a basic start - if you're trying to capture franchisees - then I would suggest some serious thought.

 

For me it's so plain and boring. Doesn't make me want to fill out the form..

 

I feel it needs some colour, the font is small and "dull" it's all bit boring in my mind - maybe opt for some better imaginary?

pretty much what the others said. how about pairing orange or a complimentary colour with the red? a desaturated petrol blue or cyan perhaps.

 

choosing arial is like not not choosing a font at all

 

"the English school" in the logo is so small i can barely read it

 

if the logo is round, and the feel of the product is warm and welcoming then reflect this in the font choice and graphics style (ubuntu perhaps or open sans) rounding corners off on form elements etc by a few pixels and using a round cutout instead of the triangle next to the logo

 

 

bullet point some advatnages to customer/clients/whatever and then go into more detail below. i would always prefer left justified text rather than fully justified in almost any circumstances

 

i do quite like the images and the triangle graphic elements

i'll also add that some of your images are text. You shouldn't use images for text. It's bad for SEO and acessibility. Even text overlaying an image should not be a part of the image, you can overlay text on top of an image with CSS.
