Move your cursor around... if you are lucky there will be someone else on there - the black cube represents the last known position of there cursor, with a lag of upto about 1.5 seconds

I don't know why I like it but I do.

 

You could change the actual cursor of the user to be something else. Like a mouse, then delayed thing is a cat...

 

You could change the background to Google Maps, maybe guess where they are and put their local map on, or a random map.
