Facebook People Reached?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Looking through our Facebook stats, they seem pretty poor and im left wondering, if Facebook for business is dead, unless your willing to spend, stupid amounts of money on advertising. Which, seems pointless too.

Anywho, I was wondering, without spending all day on Social Media how to increase the "People Reached" my "likes" are 1800 but my posts are "23 people reached" very low numbers - seems to have changed recently.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

My B2B customers get very little value from Facebook, but Twitter and LinkedIn perform well for them. B2C is very different; one of my customers (a band) has around 315,000 likes and their posts usually achieve a reach of between 50,000 to 75,000. Posts that encourage people to interact by asking a question are always far more successful.

Facebook marketing can work well for B2B companies, but you may have to rethink how you use your Facebook page.

It’s important to recognize that your audience on Facebook may not be the same as your audience on LinkedIn.

You can connect with a lot of people with Facebook. You need to join relevant sites and update your page with interesting info. You should also add links to your page on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Sharing in fb groups and community will increase the reach of people. Also fb ads will help to get more audience.

Facebook ada are not expensive. Boosting your post is expensive.

Boost = burn your money.

Custom audiences can be as cheap as 1pence per engagement!

The only way you'll get organic reach is by others contributing via likes, comments and shares aka popularity! Without these triggers Facebook will not show your content.

One of our retail clients gets more impressions for (certain) posts than they have total likes. So it can be done.

B2B is different sure, stick to the 90/20 rule. 90% unique, interesting and valuable content, highly targeted to your audience. At the very most 10% content promotional.

B2B arguably takes more time to build engagement but it's worth it - in fact I've hired a fulltime Social Media manager and we're rolling out social all day everyday very soon.

Currently, like many, we overly automate and I don't like it.

Active on daily basis on social meda, join relevant communities and groups share your post on this, add people comment on your follower's posts, send messages to your followers on special events and occasions these activities may increase people reaching on your social pages expectedly.
