I have a website whose ranking gets lowered due to inserting the rich snippet code in a hidden HTML element. now that code is deleted but stills the ranking and traffic is getting down. Can some one suggest me some tips to regain my ranking as well as traffic.

Any recommendations will be highly appreciated...

no body is wizard here who can guess the problem without seeing your website link and snippet code that u used for ur website

whenever u ask any question here .. make sure u give full info .. to give the visitors any clue whts wrong

and i have nevee heard adding snippet code can lower website rank on google.. there are many other things tht decide rank on google..

have u heard of the term "seo" ?

and hidden text is big no no for google ranking ... they might have penalized u becoz of ur black hat techniques to gain rank

I didn't do that for gaining traffic.. Actually my reviews and ratings are not showing so i put my snippet code in hidden text.My website is www.localdiaries.com.

again you not given full info..

which keywords you targeted

also show screen shot of google search where you used to rank before..

and also screen shot of where u rank now.. then only people can judge whether ur rank dropped or not?

but if you want to regain your rank.. u need to do proper seo.. if u cant do that urself hire a seo professional to do that for u .. mentioning the keywords u want to target
