Hi, I am in the process of creating a website on quotations on life,inspiration,motivation etc. I have a blog page as well on my site where I have posted unique contents of my own written poems etc, though not much.

I applied for the adsense and they say I should have unique contents in quotes section. Obviously most of the quotes are common and those are available at some or the other places/websites on internet.

 

How can I have unique contents as per as quotes are concerned. Are there any tricks?

I don't approve of rewriter or spinning tool.. they only produce giberrish and crap articles. You opt to pay a real writer if you want quality.

You may use tools for rewriting content but there do not provide any value. And if you are posting quotes then I believe it will make no sense. You should focus on adding some inputs about the quotes to increase the unique content ratio. It may help.

I*f I'm reading the OP right you are using quotes from people such as celebs, people from the past as such you cannot re-write the quote as then it wouldn't be a quote!

 

If you have enough unique content throughout the rest of the site then the quote section may not be of relevance to Google

 

On the other hand, if the quote section is the vast majority of the site then you may need to have more unique content on the blog section. Invite people to write poems and musings for you perhaps?

I suggest looking into this little guide http://joostkiens.com/html5-blockquotes-microdata/ if I understand what you want to do correctly. Then with microdata you can mark up the page as a 'collection' of quotes. As for 'unique' content for the page I suggest a unique introduction to each collection of quotes, why these are all together in a group, what are their connecting factors? Secondly what's you're blog about and why is it separate from the main content?

When developing your content try doing a little research by reading magazine and news paper columns. Columnists often use a large number of quotes but discuss the actual quote, learning from them may help as you will find that news papers and magazines don't suffer when it comes to SEO for their articles.
