Seeing as I've started applying for some web jobs I figured it might be worth getting some feedback on my portfolio.

 

It can be found at http://ben.someaddress.net and contains various bits of my web, photo and audio work.

 

Looking for feedback on the design and build of the portfolio, and the actual content of the site itself really.

The only thing I can see is on some of the images when they open up they can create scrollbars and I'm on 1440x900 maybe they can be reduced in size slightly?

 

Other than that it looks really good.

Did actually notice that when I tested on my macbook, but completely forgot to then sort it out.

Strange. Loading fine for me, is it giving an error message, or just blankness?

It wasn't loading from home yesterday but it loads fine from work.

I quite like the design of your site as it stands. It's minimalistic yet professional. However, if you're still struggling to decide on a set colour scheme, i'd recommend implementing a style switcher, which would allow users to select a colour scheme of their choice. I've used this method on my site (url in my sig) and my visitors seem to love it.

Thanks all. I'll look at making it all a bit bigger at some point. I did experiment with a style switcher, but decided to stick with the pink one.

 

For now though, the site has served its purpose and I've just accepted a web developer and designer role up in London, so one very happy Ben at the moment! Cheers for all your feedback.
