I can't work this out, I don't promote my website at al in Germany.

 

None of them are coming from search traffic or referals, it is all direct.

 

And yet over 13% of my website traffic comes from Germany.

 

What's going on?

Are you hosted with 1and1 by any chance?

No I'm using Vidahost.

You can use Google Analytics to break this down and look into how visitors find your website. So you can bring up a list of all the visits from Germany and look where they have come from i.e search, direct, social media

As I said before they are all direct.

Ok, so I guess I will just have to live with it :-\

Is it a problem that your site gets traffic?
