I'm new to the forums and I'm just looking for some criticism on my portfolio design that I've come up with.

 

Clearly there are some bits that will change but just want to see your views on them. Thanks

 

your layout has some alignment issues

Same as above. I would center the navbar and the headers in the center of the page (if you get what I mean?)

Top image is not very good, too simple, you do not want people to think they hire a kid.

 

Also not sure about the "finding out more about myself" text, about me is enough.

With the advice taking on the alignment I have now centre the logo, main navigation and the headers to each section.

 

As for the "Discover more about myself" bit, it's only going to be like that until I have the design sorted.

 

With the top image, are you referring to the background image and if so, how can I improve it? I want to stick to the cloud ideas.
