localscroll

Featured Replies

Hi! I'm new with jquery and I'm using the localscroll plugin for my website. I'd like to know what does it mean the value 800 in this code: $(document).ready(function(){
$('#navi').localScroll(800);

Thank you!

I'd imagine it is the duration of the animation - the time the animation/scroll takes to run before it is completed. This is in ms so 1000 would equal a 1 second animation.

Hope this helps :)

Thank you Lynsdey! Are you sure? Because , when I change it to 400, it seems the same for me. I don't know...

Try changing it to:

$(document).ready(function() {
    $('#navi').localScroll({ duration: 800 });
});

Maybe you have to explicitly set the duration via the settings.
