Spam finally under control on WDF

Featured Replies

I hope im not speaking way to soon and im deff not the one who normally makes post in the Forum News Section . But as a lot of you may remember WDF has been through huge rough patches of spammers trying to completely cloud this great forum, even going as far as using the status updates as a spam tool.

But i just want to let all members know that through the hard work of Ben and the new mod team including myself and of course all the members who have reported spam this forum seems to finally be not 100% spam free we sill get the occasional report but at least 95% spam free. So anyway, I thought I would just give all the members a brief update on the status of WDF and Spam :)

Kind Regards

Steve

I'm bored because there's no more spam, lol, hardly anything to do, no one to make a "spam account".

I really must start answering questions a bit more, but I've been busy on other things recently.

Let's face some facts here, the forum only got into a mess because of updates put in by 'hard working' Ben that made moderation impossible. Moderators at the time asked for assistance and suggesting changes but these were resolutely ignored. So please don't try to gloss over the facts or imply that previous mods were to blame. The only reason WDF is getting a bit of a make over is because there is competition out there and that affects peoples pockets.

The forum really is back on it's feet, whatever that's happened, brilliant.

Just the whole feel of the forum now feels improved with members new & old, quite cozy i'd say. :drinks:

I'm going to try and post more and challenge Alluziion for that member of the month award :D
