A while back I had a client who asked for a login form where the user could choose "admin", "user", "guest", or "custom" from a thumb panel. He later changed his mind to have a different kind of look and so this was never finished. It's Friday and I'm bored so I decided to try and design it (and perhaps implement it and add JQuery animation magic).

 

Here's what I have so far though it's a work in progress (I haven't gotten to color yet, I'm still moving stuff around, and I'll probably design icons instead of using my ugly mugshot that I use for everything).

 

Any suggestions are welcome. I'm not quite sold on "Amaranth" as the font for the username and I think spacing and lighting may be a bit of an issue.

I like the concept but the password icon is to big I think maybe place it in the input field. Just an idea
