Sorry I don't know where to place this

I had a website for 7 years I moved the host to reg123 and now my online quote form shows a 500 internal service area

I have contact 123 reg but they are saying speak to webdesigners but I don't have one. I moved website by my self using filezille

The rest of the site works.

We URL for service area is

http://www.premier-limousines.co.uk/limo_hire_quote.html

Please can some help me, I know it's a minor problle

But I have been trying to solve it without luck for 4 days

Thanks

Have you configureed the formail script, or set its privaliges? That's what the error is saying is wrong.

No I haven't I have just started web design and my knowledge is limited. Only been doing it for a few weeks.

How would I start to know what to do. Can you advise me.

Or if you could do it I would pay you

Thanks I am really desperate I sort this

Thanks for your reply

How quick did they tell you to go get a web designer, with it being a 500 error i'd expect something has changed, ether the server is messing up of something has gone wrong on the web pages.

I'd get them to restore the website back to when it was last known working, if that doesn't fix it i'd want 123reg to be coming up with answers.

Could not execute script "/websites/123reg/LinuxPackage26/li/mo/hi/limohireleedslimousine.co.uk/public_html/premier/public_html/nms_formmail.pl"

Have you made any changes, or have you by chance changed any permissions on the hosting files?

Hello I haven't changed the permission but they told me to change it to 755 . That didn't work so I changed it back.

My webdesigners gave me a back up so all I did was load the back up using filezilla to my directory in 123 reg. the website was working fine and I loaded all the files from the public folder. I can't remember there being a script how would a script folder look. I imagine as it worked before there will be a script. The website was hosted for 7 years without problem, I find it strange

Thanks for help and reply

Hello sorry I should explain I moved to 123 reg only 3 days ago. My website before was working fine with another host company. So it's three or four days I have had this problem

Sorry I don't know where to place this

You could at least have tried.

General chat is quite obviously not for support (it even says so in the description).

Regarding your error. As everyone has mentioned here, it's more than likely a permissions error. A quick way to test if it is or isn't is to set the script directory and subdirectories as well as all files to full permissions and see if it then works. If it does then set the folders one at a time back to more secure permissions.

[Thread moved to 'Server Side (PHP, Databases, ASP.NET, etc)']

Part of the problem appears to be that you've uploaded it 2 folders deeper than it was expecting to be (witness the repetition of /public_html/ in the file path) - you can't upload multiple sites from one hosting package and expect them to just work on another, the extra sites need to be created as addon domains (if your new package supports that, and if it does the folder structure may well be different).
