However if you are looking at gaming you will need to increase the spec of your PC (especially if it's online gaming).
October 4, 201115 yr Author I'm a bit of a hardcore gamer so an upgrade would be nice but I'm not really up to date with today's settings. Some'one also suggested to upgrade mine processor but I'm not sure if that would be really usefull.

Some'one also suggested to upgrade mine processor but I'm not sure if that would be really usefull. Again, for gaming it would help massively. A RAM upgrade would be beneficial too. Check your systems limits for upgrading to see how far you can spec it. I’m not to familiar with graphics cards so I’m not sure how good the one you have is.
October 4, 201115 yr The GFX card is your weakest part. I have a 5670 and I don't think even mine is great for gaming.
October 4, 201115 yr Well, the minimum specs for NFS Hot Pursuit are: Processor: Intel Core® 2 Duo 2.0 GHZ or AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4GHZ; 1.5 GB Windows® XP / 2 GB Windows Vista® - Windows 7® Memory: 1GB (XP), 1.5GB (Vista), 1.5 GB (Windows 7) Video Card: DirectX® 9.0c Compatible 3D-accelerated 256 MB video card with Shader Model 3.0* or higher So you should be able to run that okay. Not sure about NFS The Run though. You'll have to wait until it comes out and the specs are announced for a definitive answer. If you want my opinion though, if it's anything like other current games, I reckon you'll be right on the edge of the minimum specs for it and will have trouble running it. You'd probably need a better processor and graphics card. Anyway, a good place to find this kind of info out is: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ Edited October 4, 201115 yr by Spitfire
October 4, 201115 yr Graphics card's your weak link there. I'm still running a Core 2 Quad with 4GB of RAM and it performs fine in everything I want it to (last thing I tried was Battlefield 3 beta). Get a good, high-end card and it will usually last. I'm still running a HD4890, plays everything maxed out for me and it's two generations behind.
October 5, 201115 yr I'll also say upgrade your gfx card, games rely heavily on the card and not so much on the processor, the exception may be rts like games where there's loads of units on the screen at once. So I'm aware. More ram is always useful. Especially if you have multiple applications open at once. Just look for the best card you can afford but check review/comparison sites before you buy. ~evu.
October 5, 201115 yr Author Alright thanks for all the kind repleis, I will be buying a high end graphic card when I got a real life car in November.
November 21, 201114 yr Author Hey guys, just to pump this thread up and not to re-post. I got now like "€250,-" euro to spend on an epic graphic card. I wonder what are you recommendations for mostly racing games? Or maby I should wait for a new cards that are coming out soon like in December or anything?
