Hi all,

 

I created my blog on dating advice not long ago and i am wondering if any of you could give me any advice on how to make it better. Seeing some of the talent on here i know i can learn alot from you guys. Mainly i think the design is not the best so any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Looks nice, my only problem with it is the large banner at the top. Its a bit tall.

It seems a lot of people are going for larger banners these days but im not a big fan of them at all.

 

In my opinion it should be a little bit smaller.

Its nice but I as per my openion,

 

Regarding Header panel

 

If you reduce the width of the of the header image and make the Logo and the Subscribe panel in the white background then it will be much more highlighted.

 

And the image used in the header is colorised, please keep it in its orginal Color tone.

 

Please try to create a blank space between the top navigation and the header image as such the search panel then i think there will be a similarity.

 

Regarding the Body panel

 

I think you should increase the font size of the panel Titles as it seems too small.

 

You can highlight the readmore button by spacing it in the next line of the content.

Personally, I think a large header looks nice but only really on the index page. I thought it looked good when I first opened the site, but when I clicked an article I felt I wanted it to be a bit smaller. I think everything else looks great, but one thing I'd try to improve would be the right hand section of that header- I can't say how I'd improve it, but I think if you play with the fonts and effects a bit it could look better, in my opinion.

I usually would put things like 'What is RSS' in the footer of the site rather than at the top in the navigation.

I think this is a really nice design. I don't find the header too big for the index page, but I agree, it would probably be better to shrink it on the other pages. As for the RSS being featured at the top, I can see why you've done it, but I would probably put it a bit lower, between the header and the lesbians may be a good place.

Ive changed the header graphic please tell me what you think. I think its a little less obtrusive now. The RSS section will be put in the left hand sidebar.

 

The lesbians have to go lol sorry guys.

 

One thing i am concerned about is the typography of posts.. For some reason the text does not look right to me...

The header is workin gmuch better now the RSS bit has been moved - I just wonder of the header text needs to be a bit bigger. It looks a bit lonely in the middle there...

Other than that, very nice.

Ok ive seem to have run into a problem and i cant figure it out.. In Firefox the wrap dosnt seem to wrap anymore... it only leaves the header part white...

 

Not sure why that is .. ill fix it this afternoon, or try to..

One thing i noticed when I went to about us page on clicking the navigation the top navigation Button About Us gets highlited by white bg but an underline is present there, I think if you can remove the underline it will look clean.

I need some help here. This guy has copied content from my Ebook from datebeautifulwomen.com word to word for his use on his website...AND he is posting my content as "Micheal Ashcroft" all over the web. What should I do?

 

I can't believe someone would just copy and paste from my book just like that. This is plain theft...
