December 27, 201015 yr I submitted this some time back and I did some slight changes. So I'm now looking for feedback on everything concerning the website and the strategy and everything else. So spill your guts on me. I'm ready for it. The link again http://www.thebusinessposter.com
December 27, 201015 yr Author Also, its basically a web app to build a new spin on internet advertising with the use of slide shows and frequency to make ads shuffle at different frequencies in the slide show. Take a look at and tell me what you think. Don't hold back!
December 29, 201015 yr General layout is clean and professional but im not a big fan of the fancy font being used in the navigation. it could be simple sans serif font like helvetica neu or futura. also the image change effect is cool

December 31, 201015 yr Personally I love the navigation don't what I don't care for is the comic sans used randomly... that or the comic sans looking font. I know it's not an SEO help section but maybe add a basic description in the title? Also float the date to the right it seems awkward where it is now. Maybe make the inactive/nonhovered teal blue buttons a tad darker or use black font and when hovered tun the font white. Seems a bit hard to read as it is. Over all site looks very pleasant. edit try to keep some sort of consistency among the pages.. navigation specifically.. even if it means reshaping it a bit try to make it look and feel the same as the home page navigation.. December 31, 201015 yr People argue that users will never go on a website just to see advertisements. That could be true I would have to agree: it is true 99+% of the time. People don't visit the web to see advertising, the same way they don't watch telly hoping to catch their favourite ads. Realistically, who is going to visit your site?
December 31, 201015 yr I have to agree with notbanksy, who's going to want to visit a site where the only content is ads? Also if for instance you had 100 ads rotating on say your Entertainment category, who is seriously going to wait the time it would take for them to scroll through the complete cycle? How would you attract new advertisers if their ad is going to be in a long queue in the their chosen category? The whole idea needs a re-think. Edited December 31, 201015 yr by Bomb
December 31, 201015 yr Author Hi guys, Thanks all for your reviews. I really appreciate it. Its great!. I have been working on the design all day for the past two weeks. I'm working on the footer now! Anyway for the the guys above and their doubts about the usability of the website. Well, I mean if you look it it like who will want to come on a website for ads, it sounds a bit rough. I mean the slides are just like info slides about the best trends, deals and stuff going on. When you want to buy a playstation, a used one, you go on craiglist. If you want a brand new one, you go on best buy, radio shack or the hi tech stores you guys have in the UK to check the best offers right. Here since people uploading the slides want customers they will upload the best slides and you can check it out easily without having to check various websites around. The categories are for the different varieties of offers from educational to cars. I think that as along as people shop online or even shop, the website could be a tool. Now its a bit limited cos I just started but if things go well, there are various ways I could expand on it, with location based slides and stuff. Also, I mean, there is nothing bad in trying. I thought of it one day and told myself to give it a go, I just love creating stuff and if it doesn't well too bad, I''ll think of something else but I do remember they Alex Tew guy from England did an advertising website and he got good money and the website is still being visisted today even though all the ads are no longer relevant. Anyway just my opinion, but thanks guys for the reviews. I appreciate it. Happy new year to you all!

January 1, 201115 yr i don't like the colors, your content breaks apart and the transition between images is bad.
January 6, 201115 yr Be very, very careful with the design. Make it as subtle and not intrusive as possible. Since this is a site composed 90% from ads know that unless it is nicely designed, sensible visitors will tend to run away as soon as they see it (especially if the adds are rotating ).
