One suggestion. Reduce the font size of top menu and footer text. it will look more sleek and balanced. May be you can try darker color, closer to the background color.

You already have an extra class on left navigation div "pl10" you can use this class to apply underline on hover. like pl10 ul li a:hover { text-decoration: underline; }

you are right the one we are looking for is a little different and after reviewing all these sliders we have decided to either code it from scratch or try to play with that main.js second issue which we are facing is that, there is another main slider which changes the pages with a sliding effect and this slider does not allow any other script to be played within it. so we have to go for custom coding i guess.

From the image its not clear what exactly you want. but if you want to align the image with bottom line then you can simply set use the following styles for the image position:relative; bottom:-40px;

I already have tried jquery scripts but all those scripts works well only on DIV scrollbar and does not work perfectly fine with Textarea

In one of our project we got to modify the look and feel of the textarea scrollbar, similar to http://www.hesido.com/web.php?page=customscrollbar, the one in the right side with rounded corners and grey color. This script works fine with div but does not work with textarea. Anybody knows any better and customizable script for textarea?

Developing something from scratch will take alot of your time. its best for you to pick some ready made design either free or premium and edit it according to your requirements. otherwise designing something and developing a base structure would waste your couple of weeks.

Colors are fine but the random shapes behind the 3 headings in lower portion are not matching with the theme. use plain rectangular boxes here. Heading colors are fine but the copy under these headings should all be in grey color. its a good start to a nice design

you can use images from sxc.hu for free with the exception that it does not have very unique collection especially if you are going to find some model images, you wont get a great collection from sxc but still its the best website for free stock images
