September 14, 201015 yr Hi, Was wondering if anyone has good tips or advise for T-shirt printing as I want to do this. I have tried in the past using a sencil and fabric spray and it went under then stencil. Is there another way?
September 14, 201015 yr Author http://amzn.to/bYeOHu I've tried that and its not that great depending on the paper quality, I'm looking at making more wash friendly and neat. Thanks for that thoe
September 14, 201015 yr okay. maybe try your stencil method and use some double sided tape to stick the stencil down and be a mask around the cut outs areas as well?
September 14, 201015 yr Author I have also tried using acrilic spray aswell but sometimes seeps into the material.
September 14, 201015 yr ok... firstly this all depends on the graphic You can now buy a type of vinyl like stuff called flex (I think!)you can cut this out and apply with heat (hot iron). If you want the stencil effect, I would suggest refrain from using the fabric spray (these are usually waterbased which is why the colour is bleeding) Try getting on ebay and buying some screenprinters ink - there is a waterbased ink and plastisol (this is the best for durability, however must be heated to around 300 degrees F to cure)

September 15, 201015 yr Author I want to maybe start my own t-shirt brand with designs. Also I want to learn the process and effectiveness of the different ways.
September 15, 201015 yr I want to maybe start my own t-shirt brand with designs. Also I want to learn the process and effectiveness of the different ways. if you want to start your own tshirt brand, then I would definitely recommend screen printing. You can pick up second hand kits fairly cheaply. Its not that hard to do either, once you get the hang of it
September 15, 201015 yr Author So is it always better to wash the t-shirts before doing the designs? Thanks guys and girls
