    Seems like one has to pay for Google Search but I'd rather have something hosted on my own site, ideally some form of javascript that searches an index file I create and update. Thanks all the same.

    I have a website with advertising 150 books, I would like to add a search facility for the site but it has been built in HTML. I wonder is there an easy way to do this without scripting as I am not a real programmer just HTML in Dreamweaver. The information required to be searched is; book title, author and ISBN No. I seem to remember seeing some javascript that searches a pre-indexed list and returns a result...does any know of such a thing. Thanks in anticipation.
