August 20, 201016 yr Products not yet translated to english, but im not asking for opinions on spelling. http://www.gadgetchicken.com Just started making this webshop from scratch, using notepad. Any opinions you have at all, I would like to hear it, regarding usability, if its easy to understand and what could be done better in your opinion.
August 20, 201016 yr It's alright, it's not very visually pleasing though, like everything just looks plain and boring. I don't like how there are so many products on one page, and there should definitely be a footer too. Try adding some subtle gradients to the solid blues you've used everywhere, and adding a background of some sort would really help too.
August 20, 201016 yr - First of all there is too much blue, you dont know where to look. You need to bring in some more colours and some call to actions! It also hurts my eyes! - Second point - Way to much scrolling. Fix these 2 points and then i will look back and make more comments.
August 20, 201016 yr The only thing I can recommend is getting rid of that iPhone case with the Manchester UTD logo on it :[ Man-U </3
August 20, 201016 yr The only thing I can recommend is getting rid of that iPhone case with the Manchester UTD logo on it :[ Man-U </3 Jealousy gets you know where lol. MUFC! I like the women in the kinky outfit too. Site is too blue, being a united fan im not a fan of blue. Even tho its on my site too lol. Maybe look at the colours, or add something fancy on there like a slider?
August 20, 201016 yr This site looks very dated, use some gradients, better shades of blue. Get a nice banner, it looks quite cheap the one in place at the moment. What's up with the lonnnnnnnnnnnnng home page as well?! There should be some sort of featured product, sale items, etc and not just put in what appears to be a lengthy 2 column table. The images benefit of having no backgrounds, you should continue with that, some have backgrounds and look pretty naff. The top navigation is pretty plain as well, not sure why the underline stretches a lot wider than what it's meant to, I'd probably change that to something similar to play.com with dropdown lists for each item as well as having links on the left. At this time I would never trust this site enough to purchase items because of its design.
August 20, 201016 yr Author thank you all for good feedback, alot of what your saying is making sense. just want to get somewhere from the basic place im at, im no designer at all, im only good doing the backend stuff about colors and header, im thinking about going more in the direction of http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/a905/ what you guys think of thinkgeeks design? i like some of it, not all of it, but parts are good.
