Best PHP Tutorial I've Found ~~
Depsite the fact this guy annoys the tits off me, the fast-paced easy to knock out tutorials are a really good guide to learning PHP, I was actualy just looking for a reference and I stumbled across them! If you're only just learning PHP... I really really recommend these. He's a rather good teacher in my opinion!

CSS text
So, for example what 800px (that is my average page width) in percentages? I have tried to work it out by dividing 145px by the amount of space I have to fill, which is 655px; because the whole resolution for the width is a minimum of 1024 by 768px: The formula is: Method: (X / Y) * 100 = R Example: 3 / 26 = 0.11 | 0.11 * 100 = 11% [i also found a formula for text on webinmind.net] Examples: * For a 13px text: 13 / 16 = 0.8125 = 81.25% * For an 18px text: 18 / 16 = 1.125 = 112.5% ... I tried the text but, it's a little screwy in IE. (Like we expected any different =D) Enjoy mien fellow interwebbers, this is a beta thing for me too, if you spot an error, jump all over it ^^

Trying to Install ASP.NEt
I went to w3 schools to try and learn ASP.NET, shamefully they didn't have any links up for the download pages on the microsoft website, so, I went and looked myself and download everything they told me, only problem is, I haven't got a clue what I have installed, everytime I install something Microsoft wants me to install something else... Anyone got any links or bunble packages that will install everything I need ot start learning ASP.NET? o.o

PHP or ASP in industry
Yes ofcourse =O No offence meant, hey, i'm a PHP developer too you know! But still, ASP.NET seems like the way to go "Also if you go ASP.Net I would certainly program with C# rather than VB." haha, I thought ASP.NET was actualy language, but you say you program the webpages in C#?

PHP or ASP in industry
Hm... I was looking a little more into and aspx pages do run on linux servers... And as for hosting, if you go to the microsoft website, it's actualy just as cheap as PHP hosting, although I'll agree PHP has more deals, but ASP isn't that much more expensive, not considering the extra revenue you will be receiving... I already know PHP... But everybody knows PHP, the competition is high, who knows ASP? I don't know anyone who knows ASP... Hello? If there are so many jobs in ASP then somebody needs to step-up and take them! I for one am not gunna sit my arse developing in PHP when there is so much extra work just waiting to be harvested. That's my opinion anyways, got a girlfriend and bills to think about

PHP or ASP in industry
Quite the contrary to my argument, ASP is used more in industry and to back this up I did a search for you on Jobsite. Jobs in ASP: 756 Jobs in PHP: 358 That answered my question. =]I already know PHP, I just wanted to know of learning ASP is a good idea. Seems to be whenever I a kirb crawling for work, I am forever running into "ASP.NET developer wanted"

Review on My Website
As a web-designer... I would change a few things... 1)The footer [Make it smaller] 2)The rollover contact information in the top right 3)Make what you offer more visible (As in, the first thing they see) 4)Make some sort of slogan? Instead of just the generic "I r design websiates fer yhoo" ect... But... A client who doesn't know anything about web-design will probably be very impressed. :]... They may miss some vital information though. Alex ~
