HELP!!! are they off a template or are they core wordpress files, at the very least you should be able to get the basic pages back, if they are heavily modified then It looks like you have a bit of work ahead of you unfortunately.
July 25, 201016 yr Owch. The good news is you'll only ever make that mistake once. The bad news is it looks like you're stuffed. Backup all the time and backup whole sites periodically, and store safe (not just on one hard drive) Is there a chance the file is open in your editor? Does your host server make available their backups? Could you pull the cached version off Google and rebuild it, might save some time.
July 25, 201016 yr Host may have backup, and I have saved things by finding the cached pages, yahoo or google.
July 25, 201016 yr Host may have backup, and I have saved things by finding the cached pages, yahoo or google. That's a good idea actually. Download page.php and single.php again, then visit the cached page to get your HTML code to put in them. This will take a little while, but is better than starting all over again.
