April 20, 201016 yr Dammit I'm almost 28 now and my facial hair is still extremely patchy. Being clean-shaven just doesn't suit me and I really want that scruffy stubbly designer look but obviously my genes won't let me, instead I just kinda look like a homeless person when it grows. Anyone else have this problem?
April 20, 201016 yr Man... you're gonna hate me... lol I have too much hair on my face - same age as you, and I look like bigfoot's little brother after 2 days of not shaving. I now use a beard trimmer to get that 'constant 5 o'clock shadow look' and use a razor to shave my throat area to keep a fairly straight line around my chin etc... So no... no hair growing problems for me, the only issue is having to shave so often
April 20, 201016 yr mrchristoph - I feel for you. My beard is as patchy as the mobile phone signal on Dartmoor... Doesn't stop me from avoiding the clean shaven look though. I can get away with it so long as I keep it short. Oh, and I'm a good 7 years older than you too. You could try a goatee?
April 20, 201016 yr Author I had a goatee but unfortunately it looked rubbish, and also I'm not in a nu-metal band (not anymore anyway ) I do tend to grow my stubble a bit but get comments from some of my ruder friends about how patchy it looks. Oh well, screw them I'll have it anyway. oh, and Terydinho - you're right I hate you

Anyone else have this problem? I wish I had that problem - if I want to stay clean shaven I have to shave virtually every day!

April 20, 201016 yr try growing it quite long - ignore the patches for a week or two, and yes... it will look rubbish for those 2/3 weeks that you are growing it, but what that will allow is for the bald patches to grow a bit, once you shave them, you open up the pore and it should grow more easily next time - thats what i hear anyway

Anyone else have this problem? i also have the same problem i am 22 and still dont have proper facial hairs.. its so annoying sometimes but one day i will make one magical php script so that i can grow some hairs on my face
April 25, 201016 yr Hey guys - i don't have any beard hairs at all but from the other side of the fence... yes stubbly bit rough v sexy on the right person BUT when you're up close.... smooth face is a much more pleasant experience.
