February 16, 201016 yr Hi, I am new on the scene of "web design" but like to play around in Photoshop a bit with ideas, so here is my mock up for a portfolio site i guess. I haven't spent that long on it but at this stage, still want feedback and criticism. Looking for ideas to fill the space and what not:
February 16, 201016 yr I like your design. The font looks friendly and unique and has character. The black and orange creates a corporate looking contrast to the font. However I notice all the content listed in the navigation is on the page - so I don't know how it would work in practice.
February 16, 201016 yr Author Aye, your right! I guess I just slapped a navigation bar in there without thinking, I'll toy around with it, thanks.
February 16, 201016 yr keep ur font for the logo only. i would drop it everywhere else. its too hard to read. find a font that works with it and make them work toegther
February 19, 201016 yr I would keep the font, I don't find it hard to read. It seperates you from the crowd. As for all the content on one page, maybe you could show a snippet of info for each sectio and then when you click on it, or the appropriate nav link that section expands to fill the whole page and shows all the content? jQuery.
February 19, 201016 yr Everyone has already commented on the navigation which would be the criticism I would of made. As for the heading fonts I think they look good and I definately don't struggle to read them! Good work chap!
February 20, 201016 yr Everyone has already commented on the navigation which would be the criticism I would of made. As for the heading fonts I think they look good and I definately don't struggle to read them! Good work chap! i think the font looks amatuerish
February 24, 201016 yr I like the font. It works well on the menu and headers. I would swap the 'My Work' from black and orange to orange and black. This way ABOUT, CONTACT, and WORK are the same orange.
