Just started a Facebook page for my web design business as a way to keep to promote myself, is anyone else using facebook to promote themselves? i'd be interested to see your guys pages

The tallest size you can have your profile picture is roughly 200px x 600px so I designed to that Took a little testing to see what worked.

 

I've got a Facebook page to do for a band in Januaray so I plan to use the 200px x 600px space to place their logo and have news on gigs and annoucements placed in there as well.

Im currently working on a page for a company, and works great in all browers except this strange issue:

In IE the CSS seems to have be ignored (for what ever reason), but if you login into facebook, it displays correctly!?

1st view it in Firefox, then in IE, then login whilst using IE - it displays correctly?!!

 

Do you have any expreience with this or know how to fix this?

Yeah you can create your own tabs, called FBML, not too sure how to set them up tho as someone else in the office did that part. try facebook developers forum.

Sort of! My colleague does. I jsut designed/coded that big advert.

Ahh I find this whole social media marketing thing interesting, seems to be the popular thing at the moment and a service I'd like to provide. I need to do some research first though
