Image Gallery Problem
Hey guys! I've got a really annoying problem with an image gallery I've had developed for a site I'm currently working on, the guy who coded the JS is struggling to work it out so I thought I'd ask here in the meantime. http://richardkarlgregg.com/wellplastic/ Basically visit the link above and click 'work' from the menu, when page loads the first image seems to fade in twice (kind of flashes in twice) instead of just fading up once. This seems to only happen in Firefox and Chrome, IE and Safari seem to be fine etc. So I'm not sure if it's something to do with the JS that brings in each page dynamically, as loading http://richardkarlgregg.com/wellplastic/#work or http://richardkarlgregg.com/wellplastic/work/ everything seems to work ok. If anyone has any ideas please let me know I didn't design the site so I'm not looking for any crits on that and I'm aware of a few CSS issues etc / the web font I've used needs sorting out. Thanks!

Weird Problem
Thanks for testing it guys Just seems to break for people in Manchester! Any ideas why it'd do that?

Weird Problem
Basically I'm having a strange problem with a site I'm currently working on for a band, the site loads and functions fine for me, however for some people the site stops functioning after a while, the page will load, but the navigation wont work, the navigation uses some JS to bring in the pages content dynamically to allow the track player to keep playing regardless of what page the user is on. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it would work for some people and not others? It seems to break in every browser for the people I've spoken to who said it breaks. For me it works perfectly : ( http://foakmusic.com/index.php So firstly does it function for everyone? Thanks in advanced for your help!

ask-models.com - HTML Newsletter template
Thanks I will resize it to 700px, I made it 840px based off an example I found, think it might have been an xbox live email newsletter, will making it bigger than 700px cause trouble or is it just best practise not go above that?

ask-models.com - HTML Newsletter template
Thanks for the comments guys Could you let me know what those would be ? Always interesting to know! I've done a few before and yeah found code works differently depending upon the email client, I'd say it's worse than the cross-browser issue! What I normally do is make as much of it as possible an image, then use an image map to add links to buttons etc, with the images broken up into a table, is that the correct attitude? Thanks

ask-models.com - HTML Newsletter template
Hey guys, just been asked to update an HTML Email template for a company I do a lot of work for, the old one was starting to look tired. See attached for what I've got so far, but the general idea is to update the product featured at the top, the 4 smaller featured products and the reviews for each issue. Crits and comments welcome as usual!

hahah thanks Your getting into it now! I expect a full redesign by the end of the day! I quite like what you've done with the pointy down arrows on the nav. I see you've removed my pause button, the client wants a user to be able to pause the slideshow if they want to take a longer look at a kitchen image etc, I'm not really sure how you'd get around that, other than using an international recognised symbol that means 'pause' Thanks again for the input, appreciate it. Like I said I will be working on it again in a couple of days so I will post an update then.

hmmm that looks odd to me and cheapens the look to be honest, however I like what you've done by making them look more like buttons, so I might try that but keep it in the bottom right. Thanks for taking a look anyway!

Not tried Cufon, I've read about http://www.fontsquirrel.com/ though, would if be ok to use that? Both I and the client own the font etc...

Thanks for the comments guys 2. Hmmm yeah I see what you mean, I will have a play, although I want to keep everything simple and balanced. 3. What's not clear about a generic pause symbol ? 4. Ahh good idea! I suppose I could try to convert the font to a web font and use that or just use an image. Thanks for the pointers sunwukung, I will have a play and repost it to see what you think later on.

This marks my 4th site design since going freelance, really wanted to go with a minimalist style that was nice and clean, never really done that before : ) The project included creating the logo and brand then applying to everything from business cards, leaflets, to web based assets. Let me know your thoughts!

WW2 Mod Website layout
This is a layout I completed for a WW2 mod for a game, typically I only get to work on more generic corporate stuff so this was a good chance to do something different. This was also my first real go at doing something textured, a nice style but quite labour intensive. They wanted a briefing style document shown on a desk, a bit like the Call of Duty loading screens etc. Let me know what you think! Although I designed it, I didn't get to code it unfortunately!

I'm not really sure to be honest What is the limo broker tab? Is that a custom app you've made for limo broker? Didn't know you could do that

Facebook Pages
Thanks The tallest size you can have your profile picture is roughly 200px x 600px so I designed to that Took a little testing to see what worked. I've got a Facebook page to do for a band in Januaray so I plan to use the 200px x 600px space to place their logo and have news on gigs and annoucements placed in there as well.
