Hey all,

I'm looking for a color picker (like the eye dropper tool in PS) that will tell me what colour something on the web is when I hover over it, anyone know of one?

I feel like this must exist somewhere, I've been looking thru the Firefox add-ons tho and nothing seems quite right.

Nevermind just found what I was lookin for - colorzilla

Thanks that's pretty useful

my top 3 add-ons:

1. firebug

2. colorzilla

3. measureit (weirdly i find this one useful all the time)

I found a great site last week for getting colours working together - Colors on the Web

It looks a bit old school, but it's helped me a lot so far!

My favorite addons for firefox are

Web Developer Toolbar

Firebug

Fireshot

I just use in ff firebug and that colour picker, in IE I use IE Developer Tool

On OS X there is a application as standard to do stuff like this.

I won't be using OS X for a while - I'm none too flush at the mo, so the free-er the better
