Perch CMS

Featured Replies

Hi All

Does anyone have any experience with Perch as a CMS? I have a prospect who wants a new site and wants to be able to modify certain sections. Perch looks up to the job from what I can see but there's no trial available.

Cheers!

I've never used this but I spotted it the other week on a css gallery. You can sign up for a live demo on the site - http://signup.perchdemo.com/.

Perch doesn't look anything special from that intro video for £35 which a lot of free cms's can do. Depending on your clients specific requirements, cushycms may be good enough, it's very simple and it's free.

Hi tillwilly,

Thanks for the info. Just a bit worried about sharing the customers login info with another party with respect to cushcms. I've tried the perch demo (thanks for the pointer) and it seems ok. So difficult to tell until it's used in a live environment.

I've always intended to write my own solution for customer updates but just don't have the time right now.

With Cushycms you can make different pages editable by different editors...

Im not 100% sure what you mean by:
