Feedback on link colour...

Featured Replies

I've just finished converting ZigPress from a simple custom site to a WordPress-based site, so that I could include a tech blog on it...

I haven't done much with the design (except incorporate a proper sidebar and a few minor tweaks), but I was never happy with the pale blue link colour so I changed it to bright green to match the logo.

However, I'm not entirely happy with it... so, if any of you think a different link colour would be better, post your suggestions here in #RRGGBB format and I promise to try them all out :)

Thanks guys.

The green suits - good colour contrast from plain text which is very helpful coming from a colourblind perspective - except that the footer links are impossible to spot :)

Thanks guys, appreciate the good vibes. Looks like I may stick to the green (and boost the footer links a tad). But alternative views are still appreciated.

Really like the colours used, you just need to adjust the colour of the font within your lightboxes, as it's hard to read against the white background, but other than that I think it all works well together.

:D

Lightbox: yes, noticed. Will fix tomorrow, thanks for reminding me :)

And hey, if it owns, I guess I just gotta let it own...

And do you know, it's growing on me, especially on my other monitors... maybe it was just my laptop colour profile that made it look pukey...

EDIT: PS. DaveP, I will try your colour suggestion tomorrow. The prevailing opinion seems to be that I shouldn't change anything (which surprised me I must confess) but, as I promised in my original post, I'll certainly see how your colour looks on my dev server.

That #66EEA2 goes nice on the grey background but unfortunately clashes with the logo... so I'm going to leave things as they are for now. Lightbox caption colour is fixed.
