I was wondering who you would recommend as a hosing company for a joomla website.

 

around 20 static pages, thats about it really.

For a static site with 20 pages, dont use Joomla at all. Sadly Joomla is quite problematic in terms of how often and how seemingly easily it gets hacked and trashed. Best to do the pages in .html and leave it at that.

 

As for who to host it, well, if its UK based, then why not check out some our or packages and what our customers say about us :-)

A customer of mine requested that I use joomal, for him to be able to update it regularly.... blog, news, well all content really

 

 

Does joomla have certain requirements from a host that I should look for

Is there any particular reason why your client requested Joolma in particular? It does seem a bit overkill for just 20 pages when there are many more choices.

Wordpress could be a better option, depending on the kind of content. WP isn't just for blogs (though of course it's great for blogs).
