Just started a few designs for a new client, and wondered if I could have opinions? I have 3 designs, all similar, just with a few changes..

i like the top most because i dont really like the block you put in the other two designs. i do however think the top one is a bit too crowded

the first one is the best. It's a nice clear, concise layout - I think the other have unnecessary clutter.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

The client wants some variatns for one design that I made, which was the bottom one. I like the second one too, although the first one is nice it seems cluttered... But hey, thats what want to see, so its there choice I guess. Any changes to be made? Coloiurs not too overpowering?

Over-looked your comment by mistake!

Thank you for your comment, i agree with the clutter, and after reviewing them, maybe the eye gets drawn towards the lower graphic..

i'll have a playe with the bottom two boxs, just below the welcome paragraph..

Maybe add something a little more interesting..

What about the logo too? the client had a general idea for a logo, and asked me to design it.. Just want a few opinions :)

They all look really good mate, very professional looking aswell which is good for industry. Nice and clean. :D

I'd probably go for #1

You have one thing missing - a property search box!

Its a work in project, the client wants something such as a holding page till they have enough properties for the webpage :)

Top one. Bringing that blue colour into the other two mockups kills the simplicity.

Other points:

- Not keen on the transparent background to the header graphic. The image cropping and placement of the text (including purple background) needs to be a bit more sensitively done.. right now, it's just slapped on there. Maybe crop the image differently so that it's mostly sky that gets covered or something.

- Lots of sharp corners, which don't feel very inviting. Not saying that everything has to be rounded and filled with kittens, but somewhere between the two might portray a balance of professionalism/friendliness. Just feels a little sharp to me atm

- Feels cluttered (pointed out before). Hopefully you won't have as much actual copy to go on the front, but I'd start thinking about how to cut it down to just the essentials. A little more padding on the purple boxes would be an improvement too. I'd bold the headlines in the boxes too.

- Spacing again.. add a bit above the "want to sell your home?" and "we'll sort out the legal" bits.. those are related to the text that follows them, they should be tied to them visually as well, rather than being spaced halfway between them and the preceding text. Is 'legal' a word in the sense you've used it? Sounds weird.. Wizely?

- Logo = craptastic. Make a deal with them.. they don't give you logo ideas, and you don't tell them how to sell houses :p

Overall, I like the direction it's going in. Has a nice feel to it, but needs some details worked on to give it a bit of a lighter touch.

There the ideas that I needed! Thank you!

I prefer people to pick every single fault with it.

With regards to the purple boxes, great idea. I'll add something to them, make it more friendly.. The text for now is simply ideas being thrown about, content will change around alot.

The header, i over looked that, and is simply an image they gave to me.. but i'll change accordingly, maybe find something I can put in for the time being :)

Logo, your right. What was I thinking! Not my strong point, maybe see if they want to change it :)

Just a little mess around.

The header, not finished really. Waiting for more images from the client. How ever, it'll look similar but better cropped and such like..

I think its opened it up, and makes it look fresher.

Better?
